| Once contaminant accumulates in a tank it will continue to contaminate any fuel that passes through it. In the past tank cleaning was a generally neglected maintenance item which was only attended to in extreme circumstances due to the cost, waste factor and downtime that traditionally accompanied this procedure. |
Thankfully this is now a thing of the past, without any of the negatives that the existing procedures involved with our range of Algae-X Mobile Tank Cleaning systems which have earned their place as the leading technology in this specialised field over the last 9 years in the harsh Southern African Environments. Mobile Tank Cleaning Systems [MTC] recondition, stabilize and decontaminate diesel, biofuels, light oils and hydralic fluid. They remove water, sediment and sludge that naturally accumalate in tanks. MTC's are compact, heavy duty, multi-stage industrial systems, for long term reliable service. They clean tanks and restore fuel to its " Clear & Bright " pristine condition without entering the tank.

AXI's standard MTC systems cover a wide range of flow rates for a variety of tank sizes. In the initial stages of the tank cleaning process, while removing free water and sludge from the tank, MTC's do not use any consumables. Only in the final stage, will the MTC use fine filter or water-blocking filter elements to dry the fuel and remove emulsified water.
MTC's are used in many applications around the world e.g.: vehicle and heavy equipment service centres. generator storage tanks, gas stations, oil rigs, fuel docks, marinas, tank and equipment rental companies, etc.
